   Eject SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool or paperclip into the small hole on the top edge SIM tray. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then pull it out completely.

   Heat Rear Glass Cover

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer around the edges of the back panel for 2 to 3 minutes. Warm the surface until it is warm to touch, softening the adhesive underneath.

   Remove Rear Glass Cover

   Gently lift the back glass panel straight off the phone housing once all edges are sliced. Set the glass panel aside in a safe spot.

   Unscrew Plastic Midframe Cover

   Use a precision Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the upper and lower plastic midframe covers. Keep screws organized by location for reassembly.

   Detach Midframe Shield

   Insert the flat edge of a spudger under the plastic midframe shield. Pry gently along the edges to unclip and remove the midframe piece.

    Slice Screen Perimeter Adhesive

    Apply a suction cup to the screen, pull up, and slide a plastic pick between the display and frame. Slide along all sides to release the glass adhesive.

    Remove Damaged Screen

    Tilt the screen away from the phone body carefully. Gently feed the display flex cable out through the chassis slot and remove the old screen.

    Scrape away remaining glue and glass splinters using tweezers and a plastic pry tool. Wipe the frame clean with a drop of isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free cloth.
