   Remove SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly to eject the tray, then remove it completely.

   Heat Back Cover

   Apply heat to the edges of the back cover using a heat gun or hair dryer for 2 minutes to soften the adhesive beneath. Keep the heat source moving to avoid localized damage.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the back cover. Pull gently on the handle to create a small opening between the cover and the body.

   Slice Back Adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Slide the pick carefully along all four edges to slice through the adhesive.

   Disconnect Fingerprint Sensor

   Slightly lift the back cover toward the right side without straining the attached ribbon cable. Use a spudger to detach the fingerprint sensor connector from the motherboard.

   Remove Upper Frame Screws

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove all screws securing the top plastic motherboard shield. Set the screws aside in an organized tray.

   Remove Motherboard Cover

   Insert the flat end of a spudger under the motherboard shield and gently lift it up to detach it from the phone frame.

   Disconnect Battery Cable

   Pry the battery connector directly up from its socket on the motherboard using a plastic spudger to cut power to the phone.

    Use a spudger to pry the main ribbon cable connector straight up off the lower daughterboard.

    Disconnect Antenna Cable

    Grasp the coaxial antenna head with tweezers and gently pull straight up to disconnect it from the daughterboard.

    Pry Up Microphone Board

    Insert a flat plastic opening tool beneath the lower daughterboard containing the primary microphone. Gently pry the board up out of its recess.

    Install New Microphone Board

    Set the new microphone daughterboard into the bottom slot of the chassis and press lightly until it sits flush.

    Attach Antenna and Interconnect Cable

    Snap the coaxial antenna cable and the main interconnect ribbon cable back onto their respective terminals on the sub-board.

    Reconnect Battery and Loudspeaker

    Press the battery cable back into its motherboard socket, then align the loudspeaker module and secure it with its Phillips screws.

    Reseal and Reattach Back Cover

    Reconnect the fingerprint sensor cable to the motherboard, apply new adhesive strips along the phone's perimeter, and press the back cover firmly down.
