Eject the SIM tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left edge of the phone to release the tray. Pull the SIM card tray completely out of the device.

3 minApply a heat gun or heated iOpener along the perimeter of the rear cover for 2 minutes. This softens the adhesive securing the plastic back panel.

Slice rear adhesive
