   Power Off the Phone

   Press and hold the power button until the menu appears, then select Power Off. Ensure the device is completely powered down before continuing.

   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM ejector tool into the hole on the side of the device. Press firmly until the tray pops out, then remove it.

   Heat the Rear Cover

   Apply a heat gun or heated pad to the outer edges of the rear plastic cover for 2 minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup onto the lower portion of the rear panel. Pull upward gently to create a small gap along the seam.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the seam created by the suction cup. Take care not to insert it too deeply.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Slide the plastic pick along all four edges of the phone to cut through the remaining adhesive.

   Remove Back Panel

   Carefully lift the rear panel away from the frame and set it aside in a safe location.

   Unscrew Lower Bracket Screws

   Use a precision Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding the lower speaker cover housing in place.

   Pry Up Speaker Assembly

   Insert a plastic spudger beneath the edge of the speaker module and carefully lever it out of the frame.

    Disconnect Battery Flex

    Use a plastic opening tool to gently pop the battery flex connector off the mainboard to prevent electrical shorts.

    Disconnect Interconnect Cable

    Use a spudger to detach the main ribbon cable connected to the charging port sub-board.

    Disconnect Antenna Coaxial Cable

    Gently unclip the coaxial antenna connector from the sub-board using fine tweezers.

    Unscrew Sub-board

    Remove the remaining Phillips screw securing the sub-board to the phone frame.

    Remove Charging Port Sub-board

    Lever a plastic spudger under the sub-board to carefully lift and extract it from the device frame.

    Position New Sub-board

    Place the replacement charging port sub-board into the lower housing, aligning it with the mounting posts.

    Secure Sub-board Screw

    Reinstall and tighten the Phillips screw to hold the new sub-board firmly in place.

    Align the coaxial antenna cable head over its socket on the sub-board and press down gently until it snaps into place.

    Align the interconnect flex cable over the sub-board socket and press firmly to reconnect it.

    Press the battery connector back into its mainboard socket until you feel it click.

    Align the loudspeaker housing over the lower section and press down until it sits flush.

    Secure Loudspeaker Screws

    Drive the Phillips screws back into the loudspeaker housing until hand-tight.

    Apply Back Cover Adhesive

    Clean remaining adhesive off the frame with isopropyl alcohol, then apply new double-sided adhesive tape around the perimeter.

    Reattach Back Cover

    Align the rear cover with the device frame and press firmly around all edges to secure the seal.
