   Power off the phone

   Press and hold the Power button, then select Power Off to completely shut down the phone.

   Eject the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole beside the SIM tray on the left side and push firmly to pop it out.

   Heat the back cover

   Apply heat evenly around the perimeter of the back cover for two minutes using a heat gun on low power.

   Attach a suction cup

   Press a suction cup onto the lower back cover and pull upward to create a small gap near the edge.

   Slice back cover adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap and slide along the edges to cut through the adhesive.

   Disconnect fingerprint sensor

   Gently lift the right side of the back cover and use tweezers to disconnect the fingerprint ribbon cable.

   Lift the plastic back cover off the chassis entirely and set it aside.

   Remove the Phillips screws securing the plastic motherboard frame using a precision screwdriver.

    Insert a thin opening pick between the display frame and glass, cutting the adhesive around all sides.

    Lift the display off the frame while carefully guiding the ribbon cable through the housing slot.

    Apply fresh adhesive strips along the edges, align the rear cover, and press firmly around all borders.
