Power Off the Device

Eject the SIM Tray

Pry Up the Old Daughterboard
2 minSlide a thin plastic pry tool underneath the daughterboard housing the primary microphone and pry it out of the frame adhesive.

Position the Replacement Daughterboard
2 minPlace the new daughterboard containing the replacement microphone into the lower frame cavity and press it flush.

Reconnect the Antenna Cable
1 minCarefully align the coaxial antenna connector over its board terminal and press down until it snaps securely.

Reconnect the Main Flex Cable
1 minAlign the interconnect flex cable over its daughterboard socket and press firmly down on the connector.

Reinstall the Loudspeaker Module
2 minPosition the loudspeaker housing back over the daughterboard assembly and press it down to snap into place.

Fasten the Loudspeaker Screws
3 minReinsert and tighten the seven Phillips #00 screws to secure the speaker housing.

Apply Fresh Back Cover Adhesive
3 minLay pre-cut adhesive strips along the phone's rear perimeter frame, then press the back cover down tightly to seal.

Reinsert the SIM Tray
