Power off the phone

2 minUse the flat end of a spudger to pry the display flex cable straight up from its motherboard socket.

Disconnect the antenna cable
2 minCarefully pry up the coaxial antenna connector from the lower section of the logic board using precision tweezers.

2 minPop the front-facing camera ribbon cable connector off the upper area of the logic board.

Remove the logic board screws
2 minUnscrew the remaining internal Phillips screws holding the logic board down to the display frame.

Lift out the logic board
3 minGently pry beneath the top edge of the logic board using a spudger and lift it free from the phone frame.

Position the replacement logic board
3 minAlign the replacement logic board over the internal frame cutouts and gently press it into place.

Secure the logic board screws

Reconnect all flex cables
3 minAttach the display flex cable, front camera cable, and antenna wire connector by pressing firmly until they snap into place.

Reinstall the midframe
4 minSnap the plastic midframe back onto the housing and secure all midframe screws.

Reinsert battery and back cover
