   Power Off the Phone

   Press and hold the power button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before starting.

   Eject the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the tray on the left side of the frame. Push firmly to pop the tray out and remove it.

   Heat the Back Cover

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on medium power to warm the rear panel perimeter for two minutes. This softens the adhesive securing the back cover.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the rear glass panel.

   Pull upward gently on the suction cup ring to separate the rear cover slightly from the frame.

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created between the rear panel and the phone frame.

   Slide the pick around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the perimeter tape.

   Carefully lift the rear panel off the phone body and place it on a clean surface.

    Grasp the pull-tab ends at the battery edges and slowly stretch them out at a flat, low angle.

    Pry Out the Old Battery

    Insert a flat plastic spudger beneath the battery edge and gently lift it out from the chassis recess.

    Wipe away any leftover glue inside the battery frame using a drop of isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth.

    Apply fresh double-sided battery adhesive strips onto the floor of the housing recess.

    Lower the new battery into the housing, aligning the connector with its socket before pressing down firmly.
