   Power Off Device

   Press and hold the power button until the options menu appears. Tap Power Off and wait for the screen to go completely dark.

   Eject SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool or paperclip into the small hole beside the tray on the left side of the phone. Push firmly straight in until the tray pops out, then remove it.

   Heat Rear Cover

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on medium heat to warm the outer edges of the rear cover for 2-3 minutes. This softens the adhesive sealing the back panel.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the warmed back cover. Pull up gently on the ring to create a small gap between the panel and the frame.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Do not insert it more than 3-4 mm deep to avoid damaging internal cables.

   Slice Rear Cover Adhesive

   Slide the pick around all four edges of the back panel to cut through the perimeter adhesive. Reapply heat if the adhesive becomes too tough to slice.

   Remove Rear Cover

   Gently lift the back cover straight off the frame. Set the back panel aside in a clean workspace.

   Unscrew Motherboard Frame

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the upper plastic motherboard shield.

   Remove Motherboard Cover

   Insert a flat spudger under the edge of the motherboard cover and gently pry it upward to detach it from the phone body.

    Disconnect Battery Flex

    Use the flat end of a plastic spudger to pry the battery connector press-fit plug straight up from its motherboard socket.

    Disconnect Interconnect Cable

    Pry up the press connectors for the main interconnect ribbon cable running directly across the battery, then lift and remove the cable.

    Apply Isopropyl Alcohol

    Apply a few drops of high-purity isopropyl alcohol along the top and bottom edges of the battery. Allow 2 minutes for it to break down the adhesive bond.

    Pull Battery Adhesive Tabs

    Locate the pull tabs at the base of the battery. Grasp each tab with tweezers and pull slowly and steadily out at a shallow angle to stretch out the adhesive.

    Pry Out Old Battery

    Insert a wide plastic card or flat spudger beneath the battery from the side. Carefully lever the battery out of its recess, taking care not to bend or puncture it.

    Clean Battery Recess

    Scrape away lingering adhesive strips from the metal frame using a plastic pry tool. Wipe the cavity with an isopropyl-dampened cloth.

    Install New Adhesive Strips

    Peel the protective backing off new double-sided adhesive strips and press them flat into the empty battery well.

    Set New Battery in Place

    Peel the top film off the adhesive strips. Carefully lower the new Moto G41 replacement battery into position and press down firmly to secure it.

    Reconnect Interconnect Cable

    Align the main interconnect ribbon cable over the battery and press its connectors down until they snap into place.

    Reconnect Battery Flex

    Align the battery flex connector over its socket on the motherboard and press down gently until it clicks firmly into position.

    Reattach Motherboard Cover

    Position the plastic motherboard shield over the top section of the board. Reinstall all Phillips screws tightly to lock it down.

    Apply Rear Frame Adhesive

    Lay down fresh pre-cut adhesive strips around the perimeter of the phone frame, taking care to press out any air bubbles.

    Reseal Rear Cover

    Align the rear cover over the back of the phone and press firmly along all edges to seat the adhesive sealed properly.

    Reinsert SIM Card Tray

    Slide the SIM card tray back into its slot on the left edge of the phone until it sits completely flush.
