Power Off Device
1 minPress and hold the power button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

Remove Back Cover
2 minInsert a plastic prying tool into the notch near the charging port. Gently lever the back cover up and peel it away from the body.

Remove Memory and SIM Cards

2 minInsert the flat end of a spudger under the loudspeaker unit at the bottom of the phone frame and lift it out.

Clean Motherboard Contacts
2 minDip a cotton swab in isopropyl alcohol and gently wipe the gold speaker contact pads on the motherboard.

Install New Loudspeaker
2 minPosition the replacement speaker module into the bottom frame recess and press down firmly until it sits flush.

Reconnect Battery Cable
1 minAlign the battery flex cable over its connector pad and press down firmly until it snaps into place.

Reconnect Fingerprint Sensor
2 minSlide the fingerprint cable into the ZIF socket, close the locking tab, and press the rubber flap back down over the connector.

Snap Midframe Assembly
3 minAlign the midframe over the display assembly and press around the edges until all plastic clips snap together.

Secure Midframe Screws
4 minReinstall the 20 Torx T3 screws into the midframe, tightening them evenly until snug.

Reattach Back Cover
2 minAlign the back cover with the phone body and press firmly along all sides until the cover snaps fully into place.
