Turn off the phone
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen to completely shut down the device.

Remove the rear cover

Remove SIM and SD cards
1 minSlide out the SIM card and microSD card from their respective slots on the back of the device.

Secure the flex cable connector
2 minSlide the flex ribbon end into the ZIF connector and flip down the locking lever to lock it in place.

Reconnect the battery cable
1 minAlign the battery connector over its motherboard socket and press down firmly until it snaps into position.

Snap the midframe into place
2 minPlace the midframe over the motherboard assembly and press along the edges to snap the clips closed.

Reinstall the midframe screws
4 minInsert and tighten all 20 T3 Torx screws to firmly secure the midframe assembly.

Reattach the rear cover
