   Locate the small notch at the bottom edge of the phone's back cover. Insert the edge of a plastic opening tool into the gap.

   Pry around perimeter to release back cover clips

   Slide the plastic opening tool around the entire seam of the rear shell. Gently twist to detach all plastic retainers, then lift off the rear cover.

   Remove SIM card and microSD card

   Slide out the SIM card and microSD card from their respective card slots using your thumb.

    Slowly work the plastic card further underneath the battery to separate the adhesive backing without bending the battery cell.

    Wipe down the battery tray with a lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive.
