Power Off Device
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select power off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

Eject SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert the SIM eject tool into the hole beside the SIM card tray. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then remove it completely.

Heat Rear Panel
2 minUse a heat gun on low setting to heat the outer edges of the rear panel for two minutes. This softens the adhesive holding the back cover to the frame.

Slice Back Cover Adhesive
4 minAttach a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and lift to create a small gap. Insert an opening pick and slice along all edges to free the panel.

2 minCarefully tilt the back panel open without pulling on the fingerprint sensor cable. Use a spudger to pry the flex connector straight up from the board.

Heat Front Screen

Slice Screen Perimeter Adhesive
5 minPlace a suction cup on the lower front glass and pull upward to form a gap. Slide a thin plastic pick into the gap and slice along all four edges.

Separate Screen Assembly
