Power Off the Phone
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select power off on the screen to shut down the device completely.

Eject the SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject pin into the hole on the left edge of the phone to pop out the SIM tray.

Heat the Rear Cover
2 minApply heat around the edges of the back panel for two minutes using a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive.

2 minDisconnect the charging board flex and antenna cables attached to the lower section of the logic board.

Disconnect Front and Rear Cameras
3 minUnsnap the camera ribbon connectors and lift the camera modules out using fine tweezers.

Unfasten Logic Board Anchor Screws
2 minRemove any remaining Phillips screws anchoring the logic board directly to the phone frame.

Pry Out the Logic Board
2 minInsert a spudger under the top corner of the logic board and carefully lift it out of the chassis.

Install Replacement Logic Board
4 minAlign the new logic board inside the housing and gently press it into place before reconnecting all components.
