   Power Off the Moto G32

   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small pinhole on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly until the SIM card tray pops out, then pull it out completely.

   Heat the Back Cover

   Apply heat around the edges of the back panel using a heat gun on low power for about two minutes. This softens the adhesive securing the plastic rear panel.

   Unscrew the Midframe Screws

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove all visible screws securing the plastic midframe housing to the phone body. Organize the screws by position so reassembly goes smoothly.

   Disconnect the Fingerprint Cable

   Unclip the edges of the midframe around the phone body. Carefully lift the midframe slightly and use a spudger to disconnect the fingerprint reader flex cable from the motherboard.

   Locate the display ribbon cable on the motherboard near the bottom portion of the board. Use a spudger to gently pop the display connector free from the board.

    Heat the Front Display

    Warm the front screen perimeter using a heat gun for 2 to 3 minutes. Move the heat evenly across the glass edges to soften the screen adhesive without overheating the display.

    Pry the Screen Assembly

    Place a suction cup on the lower glass, pull up to open a tiny seam, and slide a thin pick under the screen frame. Run the pick around all four edges to break the display seal.

    Remove Damaged Screen

    Lift the damaged display off the phone frame, carefully feeding the display flex cable out through its dedicated slot in the chassis.

    Clean Chassis Perimeter

    Scrape off residual tape and glass fragments from the metal chassis frame using a spudger. Wipe the frame edge with isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth for optimal adhesive bonding.

    Apply Display Adhesive

    Line the perimeter of the interior frame with fresh double-sided adhesive strips. Make sure not to block front camera lenses, speaker cutouts, or sensor openings.

    Install New Screen Assembly

    Guide the display flex cable of the new screen through the frame slot. Carefully align the replacement screen into the recess and press down gently around all edges to seat the adhesive.

    Reconnect Display and Battery

    Reattach Midframe and Screws
