   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully powered down before starting.

   Eject the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly to pop the SIM tray out and remove it completely.

   Heat the Rear Cover

   Apply a heat gun or heated pad to the edges of the plastic back cover for two minutes. This softens the underlying adhesive and plastic clips.

   Insert an Opening Pick

   Attach a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull up gently. Slide a plastic opening pick into the resulting seam.

   Slice the Back Cover Adhesive

   Slide the opening pick around the entire perimeter of the phone frame. Unclip the plastic tabs and slice through the perimeter adhesive.

   Lift Off the Back Cover

   Carefully lift the rear cover off the phone frame. Set the back panel aside in a clean area.

   Unscrew the Speaker Module

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the seven screws holding the lower speaker module in place.

   Remove the Loudspeaker Assembly

   Insert a spudger under the edge of the lower speaker housing. Pry up gently to detach and remove it from the device.

   Disconnect the Main Flex Cable

   Pry the bottom end of the main interconnect flex cable straight up from its socket on the charging daughterboard using a spudger.

    Disconnect the Antenna Cable

    Use precision tweezers to grip the coaxial antenna connector head. Pry it straight up to disconnect it from the daughterboard.

    Unscrew the Charging Board

    Remove the single Phillips screw securing the charging board to the inner frame.

    Remove the Old Charging Board

    Insert the flat end of a spudger under the edge of the charging board. Gently pry the board up and out of its recess.

    Insert the New Charging Board

    Position the new charging board into the lower frame housing. Ensure the USB-C port aligns precisely with the frame opening.

    Secure the Charging Board Screw

    Reinstall the single Phillips screw to lock the new charging daughterboard to the frame.

    Reconnect the Antenna Cable

    Align the head of the coaxial antenna cable directly over its socket on the new board. Press down gently until it snaps into place.

    Reconnect the Main Flex Cable

    Align the press connector of the main interconnect flex cable over the daughterboard socket. Press firmly until you feel it click.

    Reinstall the Loudspeaker Assembly

    Set the loudspeaker housing back over the daughterboard. Press down on the edges until it sits flush against the body.

    Fasten the Speaker Screws

    Thread and tighten the seven Phillips screws into the loudspeaker module until snug.

    Snap the Rear Cover On

    Align the rear cover with the phone body. Press firmly along the edges until all perimeter clips snap back into place.

    Slide the SIM card tray back into its slot on the left edge until flush with the outer frame.
