Eject SIM Card Tray

Pry Up Sub-Board
2 minInsert a plastic pry tool under the bottom sub-board—which contains the primary microphone—and gently lift it out of the chassis.

Clear Microphone Mesh
2 minInspect the rubber gasket and rubber boot around the microphone port in the frame, removing any dirt with tweezers and compressed air.

Set Replacement Sub-Board
2 minAlign the new sub-board with the microphone gasket and press it firmly down into place inside the bottom housing.

Reinstall Speaker Frame
3 minReconnect the antenna and interconnect flex cables, position the speaker module over the sub-board, and secure all Phillips screws.

Reseal Rear Cover
