Lift Rear Cover
1 minCarefully swing open back cover from right edge like a book page.

Disconnect Fingerprint Flex
1 minUse pointed end of spudger to pry fingerprint sensor cable off motherboard connector.

3 minGrasp battery pull-tabs and stretch them out slowly parallel to phone frame.

Pry Out Battery
2 minSlide flat plastic card under battery edge to carefully lift battery from housing.

Clean Battery Well
2 minWipe away remaining adhesive residue inside housing using isopropyl alcohol and cloth.

Apply New Adhesive Strips
2 minPlace new double-sided adhesive strips into empty battery recess.

Install Replacement Battery
1 minAlign replacement battery in tray and press down firmly to secure adhesive.

Reconnect Main Interconnect Cable
1 minSnap main flex cable connectors back onto motherboard and sub-board.
