   Power Off Phone

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely shut down before starting.

   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject pin into the tray hole on the left edge of the phone. Push inward until the SIM tray pops out and remove it.

   Heat Rear Panel

   Apply heat evenly to the edges of the back cover using a heat gun for 2 minutes to soften the factory adhesive.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull up slightly to create a gap. Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap.

   Remove Rear Panel

   Slide the opening pick along the perimeter to slice through all rear cover adhesive. Lift the panel away from the frame.

   Unscrew Rear Midframe

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all visible screws securing the upper and lower midframe covers.

   Unclip Bezel Frame

   Insert a spudger between the midframe and plastic front housing edge. Carefully pry along the sides to release all locking clips and remove the midframe.

   Disconnect Battery Cable

   Use the flat end of a plastic spudger to detach the battery press-connector from the motherboard.

   Disconnect Screen Flex

   Pry up the display flex cable press-connector located on the main logic board.

    Disconnect the interconnect flex cable linking the bottom daughterboard to the motherboard.

    Apply a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol along the battery edges. Use a plastic card to gently pry the battery free from the chassis.

    Heat Front Display

    Use a heat gun to warm the front glass edges for 2 to 3 minutes to loosen the display adhesive.

    Separate Screen Glass

    Attach a suction cup to the glass and insert a thin plastic opening pick between the display assembly and the frame edge. Slice around all sides.

    Clean Housing Rim

    Scrape off all old adhesive tape and broken glass fragments from the internal frame perimeter using a spudger.

    Apply Screen Adhesive

    Lay double-sided adhesive strips along the top, bottom, and side ledges of the internal housing frame.

    Feed Flex Cable

    Thread the flex cable of the new replacement screen through the slot in the frame and press the display firmly into position.
