Eject the SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly to eject the tray and remove it completely.

Heat the Rear Cover
3 minApply a heated iOpener or heat gun to the edges of the back cover for two minutes. This softens the adhesive securing the rear panel to the frame.

Slice the Rear Adhesive
4 minAttach a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear panel and pull up to create a gap. Insert an opening pick into the seam and slide it along the perimeter.

Lift Off the Rear Cover
2 minGently lift the back cover off the chassis. Set the panel aside on a clean, dust-free surface.

Unscrew the Loudspeaker Housing
3 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the lower plastic loudspeaker cover to the frame.

Pry Out the Loudspeaker Assembly
2 minInsert a spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker module. Gently pry upward to unclip and remove the speaker assembly.

Scrape Away Old Adhesive
3 minUse tweezers or a spudger to strip away leftover adhesive from the phone frame. Clean the perimeter with isopropyl alcohol.

Position the New Loudspeaker
2 minAlign the replacement loudspeaker module over the bottom section of the phone frame. Press down firmly until it snaps into place.

Secure the Speaker Housing
3 minReinsert and tighten the Phillips screws into the loudspeaker assembly until snug.

Apply New Back Cover Adhesive
3 minPeel the protective backing off the pre-cut adhesive strips and lay them accurately along the inner edges of the rear cover.

Press the Rear Cover into Place
2 minAlign the rear cover with the chassis and press firmly along all edges to seal the adhesive. Reinsert the SIM tray.
