Power Off the Moto G22
2 minPress and hold the power button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before proceeding.

Remove the SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the left side of the phone. Push firmly to pop the tray out, then remove it completely.

2 minDisconnect the lower end of the interconnect flex and antenna cables, then pry the sub-board out of the frame.

5 minDip a soft nylon brush in 99% isopropyl alcohol and gently scrub all corroded areas on both circuit boards. Focus heavily on connectors and power IC regions.
