Step-by-step

Power off the device
1 minPress and hold the Power button, then select Power Off on the screen.

Remove the SIM card tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the bottom of the device and push firmly to eject the tray.

Heat the rear glass panel
3 minApply a heat gun or iOpener to the edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach a suction cup

2 minPeel the backing off new adhesive strips and stick them flat into the battery well.
