   Power off the phone

   Press and hold the power button on the right edge, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

   Remove the back cover

   Insert a plastic opening tool into the small notch near the USB port. Pry gently to unclip and lift the rear shell off.

   Remove SIM and SD cards

   Slide out any installed SIM cards and MicroSD card from their respective slots using your fingernail or tweezers.

   Unscrew the rear midframe

    Slice perimeter adhesive

    Pull up on the suction cup to create a small gap, then insert an opening pick and slide it around all four edges.

    Remove the damaged display

    Lift the front screen off the frame, carefully threading the ribbon cables through the frame slot.

    Clean adhesive residue

    Scrape away old tape from the frame using a spudger and wipe the area clean with isopropyl alcohol.
