   Turn off the device

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off to completely turn off the Moto G15 Power.

   Eject the SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the tray on the left frame and push firmly to pop it out.

   Heat the rear cover

   Apply heat to the edges of the back panel using a heat gun or iOpener for two to three minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach a suction cup

   Press a suction cup firmly near the bottom edge of the rear panel.

   Create an opening gap

   Pull up on the suction cup while inserting an opening pick into the seam between the rear panel and frame.

   Slice through perimeter adhesive

   Slide the opening pick around all outer edges of the rear cover to separate the adhesive seal.

   Lift the rear panel

   Gently lift the right edge of the back cover like a book, taking care not to strain the fingerprint sensor flex cable.

   Disconnect fingerprint flex cable

   Use a plastic spudger to pry the fingerprint sensor connector straight up from its motherboard socket.

   Remove speaker housing screws

   Unscrew the seven Phillips #00 screws securing the lower loudspeaker assembly to the frame.

    Pry up the loudspeaker assembly

    Insert a plastic opening tool under the edge of the speaker cover and lift it off the chassis.

    Disconnect the main interconnect flex

    Use the flat end of a spudger to disconnect the main ribbon cable from the sub-board connector.

    Disconnect antenna coaxial cables

    Use fine tweezers to gently snap off the antenna connectors from the sub-board header.

    Unscrew the daughterboard

    Remove the single Phillips #00 screw securing the charging port daughterboard to the housing.

    Remove the old daughterboard

    Pry gently beneath the charging port sub-board using a spudger and lift it out of the phone.

    Set the new daughterboard

    Position the replacement charging port sub-board into the bottom recess and press it flush into place.

    Fasten the daughterboard screw

    Reinstall and tighten the single Phillips #00 screw to hold the new sub-board in place.

    Reconnect antenna coaxial cables

    Align and carefully press the coaxial cable heads back onto the sub-board terminals until they snap locked.

    Attach the main interconnect flex

    Align the main ribbon cable connector over its daughterboard socket and press down firmly to secure it.

    Replace the loudspeaker cover

    Align the loudspeaker housing over the lower frame section and press down until it sits flat.

    Secure speaker housing screws

    Tighten the seven Phillips #00 screws to attach the lower speaker assembly firmly.

    Clean residual adhesive

    Wipe away remaining old adhesive along the housing perimeter using a lint-free pad dampened with isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply new cover adhesive

    Apply custom pre-cut adhesive strips around the rim of the phone housing.

    Reconnect fingerprint sensor

    Align and snap the fingerprint reader flex cable connector back onto the motherboard socket.

    Reattach the rear panel

    Align the back cover with the frame and press firmly along all edges to set the new adhesive.

    Reinsert the SIM card tray

    Slide the SIM tray back into its slot until it sits completely flush with the outer frame.
