Power Off and Eject SIM Tray

4 minInsert a plastic opening pick into the gap and slide it along all four edges of the back panel to cut through the adhesive seal.

Lift Off Rear Cover

3 minUse a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove all screws securing the lower plastic speaker housing.

Pry Up Microphone Sub-Board
2 minInsert a plastic pry tool under the daughterboard containing the microphone and gently lift it out of its well.

Transfer Rubber Microphone Seal
3 minUse tweezers to carefully detach the silicone rubber microphone gasket from the old board and seat it onto the replacement board.

Set New Board in Chassis
2 minPlace the replacement microphone sub-board into the lower recess of the phone frame and press it flat into position.

Reconnect Antenna Cable
2 minAlign the coaxial antenna connector precisely over its board socket and snap it into place with the flat end of a spudger.

Reconnect Interconnect Cable
2 minLine up the main flex cable connector over the sub-board port and press firmly until it clicks into place.

2 minPlace the speaker enclosure module back over the lower sub-board and press down until it sits flush.
