Step-by-step

Power off the Moto G10 Power
1 minPress and hold the power button, then tap Power Off on the screen.

Eject the SIM card tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left side of the device and press to pop out the tray.

Warm the back cover edges
2 minApply mild heat around the perimeter of the back cover using a heat gun on low setting for 1 to 2 minutes.

Insert a plastic pry tool
2 minPress a thin plastic prying tool into the seam between the frame and the rear panel.

Unclip the rear panel
3 minSlide the prying pick along all four edges to release the plastic clips holding the cover.

Slightly open the rear panel

2 minGently pry the antenna coaxial connector up from the microphone sub-board using tweezers.

Remove the sub-board retaining screw
2 minRemove the single Phillips #000 screw holding the microphone sub-board to the frame.

Remove the microphone sub-board
2 minPry the sub-board gently out of its housing using a plastic tool, taking note of the microphone rubber boot.

Position the new microphone sub-board
2 minAlign the new sub-board over the alignment pins in the lower frame and push it gently into place.

Secure the new sub-board
2 minReinstall the single Phillips #000 retaining screw to fix the sub-board to the chassis.

Reconnect the antenna and main cables
2 minSnap the coaxial antenna connector and main interconnect cable back onto their sub-board sockets.

Reinstall the loudspeaker enclosure
3 minPlace the loudspeaker cover back into position and secure it with the Phillips #000 screws.

Reconnect and secure the back cover
3 minPlug the fingerprint sensor cable into the motherboard, align the cover, and press the perimeter clips closed.
