   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left edge of the phone and push firmly to pop out the tray. Pull the SIM tray completely out of the device.

   Heat the Back Cover

   Apply mild heat with a heat gun or hair dryer around the outer edges of the rear panel for 1-2 minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach a Suction Cup

   Place a suction handle on the lower portion of the back cover and press down to secure a tight vacuum grip.

   Insert an Opening Pick

   Pull up gently on the suction handle to create a tiny gap, then slide an opening pick between the rear cover and the frame.

   Slice the Perimeter Adhesive

   Slide the pick carefully around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the sticky seal.

   Remove the Back Cover

   Lift the rear cover straight off the chassis and set it aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the Upper Midframe

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all visible screws securing the upper plastic midframe cover.

   Remove the Upper Midframe

   Gently pry up the edges of the upper midframe using a spudger and remove it from the frame.

   Disconnect the Battery Cable

   Pry the battery press connector straight up off the motherboard using a plastic spudger to cut power.

    Unscrew the Loudspeaker

    Remove the Phillips #00 screws holding the bottom loudspeaker assembly to the lower frame.

    Remove the Loudspeaker Module

    Insert a spudger beneath the loudspeaker housing and pry it up and away from the phone.

    Disconnect the Main Ribbon Cable

    Use a spudger to disconnect the main interconnect flex cable from the top of the charging sub-board.

    Disconnect the Coaxial Antenna

    Gently pry the golden head of the antenna coaxial cable off its socket on the sub-board using tweezers.

    Remove the Charging Port Board

    Pry the original USB-C charging port sub-board out of its plastic housing in the frame using a flat spudger.

    Position the New Charging Board

    Place the replacement charging port sub-board into the lower cavity, aligning the USB port with the bottom frame cutout.

    Connect the Coaxial Antenna

    Align the antenna cable head over the sub-board terminal and press straight down with tweezers until it snaps into place.

    Connect the Main Ribbon Cable

    Press the main interconnect flex cable connector down onto the socket of the new charging sub-board until it clicks.

    Reinstall the Loudspeaker Module

    Set the loudspeaker module over the lower sub-board and press down firmly to snap it into place.

    Secure the Loudspeaker Screws

    Reinsert and tighten all Phillips #00 screws securing the loudspeaker module.

    Reconnect the Battery Cable

    Press the battery connector firmly back into its motherboard socket.

    Reinstall the Upper Midframe

    Align the upper plastic midframe cover, press down along the edges to engage the clips, and drive in all saved screws.

    Apply New Cover Adhesive

    Lay pre-cut adhesive strips along the perimeter edges of the rear housing frame.

    Reattach the Back Cover

    Align the back cover over the rear of the phone and press down firmly around the perimeter to seal it.

    Reinsert the SIM Tray

    Slide the SIM card tray back into its slot on the side of the phone until it sits flush.
