Eject the SIM Tray
2 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole beside the SIM tray on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly to pop the tray out, then pull it completely out of the device.

Heat the Back Cover
2 minApply gentle heat with an iOpener or heat gun around the edges of the back cover for two minutes. This softens the light perimeter adhesive and plastic retention clips.

Insert Opening Pick
2 minPlace a plastic opening pick into the seam between the back cover and the display frame near the bottom speaker cutouts.

Unclip the Back Cover
3 minSlide the pick along the perimeter of the device to disengage the plastic clips holding the rear panel in place.

1 minLift the rear cover straight off the frame and set it aside safely.

Insert New Loudspeaker

Reconnect the Battery

2 minAlign the lower speaker housing over the bottom of the device and press down firmly to snap it into the sub-frame.
