   Eject Stylus and SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the tray hole on the left edge to pop out the tray, then press and slide out the stylus.

   Heat Back Panel Edges

   Use a heat gun or iOpener on the rear panel perimeter for two minutes to soften the underlying adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear panel and gently pull up to create a small gap.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Slide a plastic opening pick into the gap created at the bottom edge of the back panel.

   Slice Rear Panel Adhesive

   Slide the pick carefully around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the adhesive seal.

   Lift the rear panel straight up off the phone body and set it aside in a safe location.
