   Eject the SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray on the top-left edge. Push firmly to pop the tray out, then remove it.

   Remove the built-in stylus

   Push inward on the stylus located at the bottom-right corner to spring it loose. Pull it out completely from the slot.

   Heat the back cover

   Use a heat gun or hairdryer to apply gentle heat around the rear cover edges for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach suction cup to rear glass

   Press a suction cup onto the lower portion of the rear panel. Pull upward gently to create a seam gap.

   Slice through back cover adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap and slide it along all four edges to cut the perimeter adhesive.

   Remove the rear cover

   Lift the rear cover straight off the chassis. Set it aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the top motherboard cover

   Use a precision Phillips screwdriver to remove all screws securing the upper motherboard shield.

   Remove the top motherboard cover

   Pry up the edges of the upper plastic motherboard cover with a spudger and lift it off.

   Unscrew the lower speaker module

    Apply uniform heat around the front display perimeter using a heat gun for 2 to 3 minutes.

    Attach suction cup to front screen

    Place a suction cup on the lower third of the display glass and pull upward firmly.

    Slice through display adhesive

    Insert an opening pick between the glass screen and the frame, sliding it around all edges to free the glass.

    Remove the display assembly

    Lift the screen away from the frame while carefully guiding the attached flex cable through the slot.

    Scrape off residual tape and loose glass shards from the frame recess using tweezers.
