   Remove SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left edge of the phone to pop out the SIM tray.

   Remove Stylus

   Push the stylus head on the bottom right edge to unlatch it and pull it completely out of the phone.

   Heat Back Cover

   Apply a heated iOpener or heat gun around the edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Apply Suction Cup

   Attach a suction cup to the lower third of the rear panel and pull gently upward to create a slight gap.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Slide an opening pick into the gap created between the plastic rear panel and the phone chassis.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Move the pick carefully along all four sides of the phone to cut through the perimeter adhesive sealant.

   Disconnect Fingerprint Cable

   Pivot the back cover up slightly and use tweezers to unclip the fingerprint sensor flex cable from the motherboard.

   Unscrew Midframe Screws

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 16 Phillips screws securing the plastic midframe panel.

   Pry Off Midframe

   Insert a plastic spudger into the side seam notch and release the plastic clips holding the midframe to the body.

    Disconnect Battery Flex

    Pry the battery connector straight up from its motherboard socket using the flat edge of a spudger.

    Disconnect Interconnect Cable

    Unplug the main interconnect ribbon cable from the sub-board near the bottom of the device.

    Disconnect Antenna Cables

    Use precision tweezers to lift and disconnect the black and white coaxial antenna cables from the sub-board.

    Remove Sub-board Screw

    Remove the single Phillips screw holding the charging port sub-board down to the bottom frame.

    Pry Up Sub-board

    Insert a spudger underneath the edge of the sub-board and lift it out of the phone body.

    Install New Sub-board

    Set the new charging port sub-board into the bottom cavity and press it gently into position.

    Secure Sub-board Screw

    Reinstall the single Phillips screw to fix the sub-board assembly firmly in place.

    Reconnect Antenna Cables

    Align and snap the white and black coaxial antenna connectors back onto their sub-board terminals.

    Connect Interconnect Cable

    Press the main interconnect ribbon cable connector back onto its socket on the new sub-board.

    Reconnect Battery Flex

    Snap the battery flex cable back into its connector on the main logic board.

    Snap Midframe in Place

    Align the midframe over the phone body and press down along the edges until the plastic clips engage.

    Fasten Midframe Screws

    Drive all 16 Phillips screws back into the midframe panel until snug.

    Connect Fingerprint Sensor

    Hold the rear cover close to the frame and press the fingerprint sensor flex cable connector onto the motherboard.

    Apply Back Cover Adhesive

    Place custom precut adhesive strips along the perimeter edges of the inner chassis frame.

    Reattach Rear Cover

    Align the back cover with the phone body and press firmly along the edges to seal the adhesive.

    Reinsert SIM Tray and Stylus

    Slide the SIM card tray back into its slot and push the stylus into its dock until it clicks.
