   Eject the Stylus and SIM Tray

   Push a SIM eject tool into the tray hole to release the SIM card tray, then slide the stylus out from its dock.

   Heat the Back Cover

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on medium heat around the rear edges for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach the Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower half of the back plastic cover near the charging port.

   Slice the Adhesive Seal

   Pull up on the suction cup to create a gap and slide a plastic opening pick beneath the back cover edge.

   Lift the Back Cover

   Carefully tilt the back cover open toward the power button side, being cautious not to strain the fingerprint flex cable.

   Disconnect the Fingerprint Sensor

   Use the flat end of a spudger to pop the fingerprint sensor flex cable connector straight off the motherboard.

   Unscrew the Motherboard Cover

    Apply a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol along the sides of the battery to weaken the glue.

    Pull the Battery Stretch-Release Adhesive

    Grasp the pull tabs at the base of the battery and slowly pull them out at a flat angle.

    Lever Out the Old Battery

    Insert a plastic card beneath the battery edge and lift gently to remove it from the recessed housing.

    Clean the Battery Well

    Wipe away residual adhesive and dirt from the aluminum frame using a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol.

    Lay pre-cut adhesive strips into the battery compartment and peel off the protective backing film.
