Eject SIM tray and stylus
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the tray hole to remove the SIM card tray, then press and pop out the integrated stylus.

Attach a suction handle

Insert an opening pick
2 minSlide a thin plastic opening pick into the seam created between the back plastic cover and the phone frame.

Lift off the back cover

Remove the sub-board screw
2 minUnscrew the single Phillips #00 screw securing the daughterboard to the bottom of the enclosure.

Pry up the old charging port board
2 minSlide a flat plastic opening tool underneath the charging port sub-board and lift it out from the recessed frame.

Position the new charging port board
2 minLower the replacement charging port board into its alignment slot at the bottom of the phone frame.

Secure the sub-board screw
2 minThread and tighten the small Phillips #00 screw to lock the new daughterboard securely in place.

Reconnect the coaxial antenna cable
2 minAlign the antenna cable head over its socket on the new board and press firmly until it snaps into place.

Attach the main interconnect cable
2 minPress the main flex cable connector down onto the daughterboard until you feel it click.

Reinstall the loudspeaker module
