   Eject SIM tray and stylus

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the tray hole to remove the SIM card tray, then press and pop out the integrated stylus.

   Heat the back cover

   Apply a warm heat gun or hairdryer along the rear perimeter of the phone for two minutes to soften the rear panel adhesive.

   Attach a suction handle

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull gently upward to create a slight gap.

   Insert an opening pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the seam created between the back plastic cover and the phone frame.

   Slice the perimeter adhesive

   Slide the pick around all four edges of the back panel to separate the adhesive securing it to the frame.

   Lift off the back cover

   Carefully tilt and remove the back panel from the device once all adhesive is fully severed.

   Unscrew the lower speaker housing

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws holding the lower loudspeaker housing over the daughterboard.

   Remove the loudspeaker module

   Insert a flat spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker bracket and lift it up and out of the phone frame.

   Disconnect the main interconnect cable

   Use the pointed end of a spudger to pry the main flex press connector straight up from the charging port sub-board.

    Disconnect the coaxial antenna cable

    Gently pry up the white coaxial cable connector from its socket on the charging port board using tweezers.

    Remove the sub-board screw

    Unscrew the single Phillips #00 screw securing the daughterboard to the bottom of the enclosure.

    Pry up the old charging port board

    Slide a flat plastic opening tool underneath the charging port sub-board and lift it out from the recessed frame.

    Position the new charging port board

    Lower the replacement charging port board into its alignment slot at the bottom of the phone frame.

    Secure the sub-board screw

    Thread and tighten the small Phillips #00 screw to lock the new daughterboard securely in place.

    Reconnect the coaxial antenna cable

    Align the antenna cable head over its socket on the new board and press firmly until it snaps into place.

    Attach the main interconnect cable

    Press the main flex cable connector down onto the daughterboard until you feel it click.

    Reinstall the loudspeaker module

    Set the loudspeaker assembly back into position over the daughterboard and press down lightly.

    Tighten the speaker housing screws

    Replace and tighten all Phillips screws to secure the lower speaker assembly.

    Apply back cover adhesive

    Clean off old glue residue with isopropyl alcohol, then apply fresh custom adhesive strips or phone repair glue along the perimeter.

    Seal the back cover

    Align the back cover with the frame and press firmly around all edges to secure the fresh adhesive seal.
