   Power Off Device

   Press and hold the power button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before starting.

   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the card tray on the left edge. Push firmly to pop the tray out and remove it.

   Heat Back Cover

   Apply heat along the edges of the plastic back panel for two minutes using a heat gun set to low. This softens the adhesive securing the back cover.

   Slice Back Cover Adhesive

   Press a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull gently to create a gap. Slide a plastic opening pick around all four sides to slice the adhesive.

   Remove Back Cover

   Lift the rear plastic panel off the frame carefully. Set it aside on your clean workspace mat.

   Unscrew Motherboard Cover

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the 13 screws securing the upper motherboard shield. Organize the screws by position on your mat.

   Remove Motherboard Cover

   Insert the flat end of a spudger under the edge of the motherboard shield. Pry up gently to unhook the plastic clips and lift the cover away.

   Disconnect Battery Cable

   Locate the battery flex cable connector near the right side of the board. Use a plastic spudger to pop the connector straight off its socket.

   Unscrew Loudspeaker Assembly

   Remove the 7 Phillips screws holding the loudspeaker unit in place at the bottom of the device.

    Remove Loudspeaker Assembly

    Insert a spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker box. Lift the module out of the frame and place it aside.

    Disconnect Display Flex Cable

    Locate the display press connector on the lower section of the motherboard. Pry it straight up with a spudger to disconnect it.

    Heat Screen Perimeter

    Apply heat along the perimeter of the front glass screen for 2-3 minutes to soften the display adhesive.

    Separate Display Panel

    Attach a suction cup to the lower display glass and pull upwards. Insert a thin opening pick into the gap and slide it around the perimeter to slice through the adhesive.

    Lift Off Old Display

    Gently tilt the glass panel up from the frame while threading its attached ribbon cable through the frame slot. Remove the damaged screen.

    Clean Frame Perimeter

    Scrape off residual glue and glass pieces using a spudger. Wipe down the inner frame channel with isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free cloth.

    Apply Screen Adhesive

    Place double-sided adhesive strips carefully along the inner display frame edges. Peel off the protective film backing.

    Install New Display Screen

    Feed the new display flex cable through the slot in the frame. Align the glass with the outer edges and press down evenly around the perimeter.

    Reconnect Display Flex Cable

    Align the screen cable connector with its motherboard socket. Press straight down until it firmly snaps into place.

    Reconnect Battery Flex Cable

    Press the battery press connector firmly into its motherboard socket to reconnect main power.

    Secure Motherboard Cover

    Place the motherboard shield onto the upper frame and snap the clips down. Reinstall all 13 Phillips screws securely.

    Secure Loudspeaker Assembly

    Position the loudspeaker module over the sub-board frame. Fasten it tightly using its 7 Phillips screws.

    Reattach Back Cover

    Apply fresh double-sided tape along the perimeter of the inner rear frame. Press the back cover panel firmly into place to seal it.

    Reinsert SIM Tray

    Align the SIM card tray with its slot on the side edge and push it until it sits completely flush.
