   Remove SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the tray on the left side of the phone. Push firmly to pop the SIM tray out and set it aside.

   Heat Rear Cover

   Apply a heat gun or heated pad around the edges of the plastic back cover for 2-3 minutes to soften the perimeter adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup onto the lower portion of the back panel. Pull up gently to create a small gap between the cover and the plastic frame.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Insert the tip of a plastic opening pick into the gap created beneath the back cover. Do not insert the pick deeper than 3 mm to avoid internal flex cables.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Slide the plastic pick around all four edges of the back panel to cut through the adhesive sealant.

   Lift Rear Cover

   Gently tilt the back panel open from the left edge like a book, being careful not to strain the fingerprint sensor cable.

   Disconnect Fingerprint Cable

   Use a plastic spudger to pry the fingerprint sensor connector straight up from its motherboard socket. Set the back panel aside.

   Remove Speaker Screws

   Unscrew the seven Phillips #00 screws securing the lower speaker assembly over the daughterboard.

   Pry Up Speaker Enclosure

   Insert a flat opening tool under the edge of the speaker module and lift it out of the phone body.

    Disconnect Battery Cable

    Lever the battery flex cable connector off the motherboard using a plastic spudger to cut power.

    Disconnect Main Flex Cable

    Pry up the main interconnect flex cable connector attached to the top of the charging board.

    Disconnect Coaxial Cable

    Use precision tweezers to carefully lift the white antenna coaxial cable connector straight up from the charging board.

    Pry Out Charging Board

    Insert a spudger beneath the bottom daughterboard and lift it out from the phone frame.

    Transfer Port Gasket

    Remove the small rubber microphone/port seal from the original charging port and place it onto the new board.

    Install New Charging Board

    Position the new charging port daughterboard into the chassis frame and press down until it sits completely flush.

    Reconnect Antenna and Main Cables

    Snap the coaxial antenna head onto the board terminal, then press the main interconnect flex cable firmly onto its connector.

    Reconnect Battery and Speaker Module

    Plug the battery connector back into the motherboard, place the speaker module over the bottom assembly, and tighten the Phillips screws.

    Reseal Rear Cover

    Reconnect the fingerprint sensor cable, apply fresh adhesive tape along the phone frame edges, and press the back cover firmly closed.
