   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

   Remove the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the tray on the left side of the phone. Push firmly to eject the tray, then slide it out completely.

   Apply Heat to the Rear Panel

   Use a heat gun or heated pad on the lower edge of the back cover for two minutes. This softens the perimeter adhesive holding the back cover to the frame.

   Insert an Opening Pick

   Press a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back cover and pull up to create a small gap. Insert an opening pick into the gap between the cover and midframe.

   Slice Around the Perimeter

   Slide the opening pick around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the adhesive. Use additional picks to prevent sections from resealing.

   Separate the Rear Panel

   Carefully lift the rear panel off the frame. Unclip the plastic tabs along the border using a spudger if necessary.

   Remove Lower Speaker Screws

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the six screws securing the speaker housing over the charging port sub-board.

   Remove the Lower Speaker Assembly

   Insert a spudger under the edge of the lower speaker module and lift it out of the phone body. Set the module aside.

   Disconnect the Main Interconnect Cable

   Use the flat end of a spudger to pry the main flex interconnect cable connector straight up from the charging sub-board.

    Disconnect the Coaxial Antenna Cable

    Use fine tweezers to gently pry the white antenna coaxial connector straight up off its socket on the charging board.

    Pry Up the Charging Port Board

    Insert a spudger underneath the edge of the charging port board to release the light adhesive. Lift the board out of the phone chassis.

    Align the New Charging Port Board

    Place the replacement charging port board into its recess at the bottom of the frame. Press down gently until it sits flush.

    Connect the Coaxial Antenna Cable

    Position the antenna cable connector directly over the socket on the new board. Press down firmly with tweezers until it snaps into place.

    Reattach the Main Interconnect Cable

    Align the main flex cable connector over its socket on the board and press down on one side, then the other, until it clicks.

    Position the Lower Speaker Assembly

    Set the speaker housing back over the charging sub-board, ensuring the alignment pins seat properly in the frame.

    Secure the Speaker Screws

    Reinstall the six Phillips #00 screws to secure the speaker module. Tighten until snug without overtightening.

    Snap the Rear Panel into Place

    Align the rear panel with the body and press firmly along the outer edges to re-engage the plastic clips and adhesive.

    Reinsert the SIM Card Tray

    Align the SIM card tray with the slot and push it completely back into the device until it sits flush.
