Power Off Phone

Eject SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the tray on the left edge. Push firmly to eject the tray and remove it completely.

Heat Back Cover Edge
2 minApply heat around the edges of the back cover for 2 minutes using a heat gun or hair dryer on low. This softens the perimeter adhesive seal.

2 minInspect the gold contact spring pins on the lower sub-board inside the frame. Lightly wipe them with isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free swab if dirty.

Position New Loudspeaker
2 minAlign the replacement loudspeaker module into the lower frame cutout. Press down gently until it snaps flush into place.

Secure Speaker Screws
3 minReinstall the seven Phillips #000 screws to hold the speaker housing firmly against the sub-board contact pads.

Reconnect Fingerprint Cable
