   Turn Off the Device

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

   Eject the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject pin into the hole on the left edge of the phone. Push gently until the SIM tray pops out, then remove it.

   Heat the Rear Cover

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer around the back panel edges for 2 minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

   Insert Opening Pick Under Back Cover

   Place a suction cup on the rear cover and pull up to create a small gap. Slide a plastic opening pick into the gap near the SIM slot.

   Unclip and Remove the Rear Cover

   Slide the pick along all four edges to release the plastic clips holding the back cover. Lift the back cover clear of the phone.

   Unscrew the Top Midframe Shield

    Insert a plastic spudger under the corner of the loudspeaker housing and pop it up out of the phone.

    Disconnect the Main Display Flex Cable

    Use your plastic spudger to gently unseat the display flex cable press connector from the lower area of the motherboard.

    Heat Front Display Edges

    Warm the front screen perimeter with a heat gun for 2 to 3 minutes to loosen the glass adhesive bond.

    Attach Suction Cup to Glass

    Press a suction cup onto the lower half of the screen near the bottom bezel and pull upward to form a seam.

    Slice Screen Adhesive Perimeter

    Insert an opening pick under the loosened glass edge and slice around all four sides to separate the display adhesive.

    Lift and Thread Display Cable Out

    Carefully lift the screen panel off the frame while guiding the attached ribbon cable through the slot in the midframe.

    Clean Frame Recess of Old Adhesive

    Scrape away leftover glue and glass fragments using a spudger and isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free cloth.

    Apply Replacement Screen Adhesive

    Lay down fresh double-sided adhesive strips along the inner perimeter ledge of the phone chassis.

    Thread and Mount New Screen

    Feed the new display flex cable through the chassis slot, align the screen carefully, and press it firmly into the frame.

    Reconnect Display and Battery Cables

    Snap the display flex connector back onto the motherboard socket, followed by the main battery connector.

    Reinstall Speaker and Midframe Covers

    Set the bottom loudspeaker and upper midframe shield back into position and secure all Phillips screws.

    Snap Rear Cover into Place

    Align the rear plastic panel over the back of the phone and press firmly along the perimeter until all clips snap shut.
