   Remove SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the left side of the phone. Press inward firmly to eject the SIM tray, then pull it out completely.

   Warm Back Cover Edges

   Apply heat around the edges of the back cover for 2 minutes using a heat gun on low. This softens the internal adhesive holding the rear panel.

   Pry Open Rear Panel

   Remove Motherboard Cover

   Insert the flat end of a spudger beneath the top plastic frame cover. Gently pry up to release its retaining clips and remove the cover.

   Disconnect Battery Press Connector

   Locate the battery flex cable attached to the logic board. Pry the connector straight up with a plastic spudger to cut power to the device.

   Disconnect Screen Cable

   Use the edge of a spudger to unclip the main display ribbon cable from its socket on the logic board.

    Pry up the lower interconnect flex cable that links the logic board to the daughterboard.
