Power off the device
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before starting.

Remove the back cover
1 minInsert a plastic opening tool into the notch near the USB port. Pry gently to unclip and lift the rear cover off the phone.

Eject the SIM card tray
