   Power Off Device

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the phone is completely powered down before beginning.

   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert the SIM eject tool into the small hole on the left edge of the frame. Push inward firmly to eject the tray and pull it out.

   Heat Back Cover Edges

   Apply heat to the outer edges of the rear cover using a heat gun for two minutes. This softens the underlying adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower portion of the rear panel near the bottom edge. Press firmly to create a seal.

   Create Initial Gap

   Pull up on the suction cup while inserting an opening pick into the gap formed between the back cover and frame.

   Slice Lower Adhesive

   Slide the plastic opening pick across the bottom edge to slice through the adhesive seal.

   Slice Side Adhesive

   Carefully guide the pick up both the left and right sides of the rear cover to separate the perimeter adhesive.

   Slice Top Adhesive

   Move the pick along the top edge of the rear cover until all surrounding adhesive is released.

   Tilt Back Cover

   Slightly lift the rear cover like a book, taking care not to strain the attached fingerprint sensor cable.

    Remove Sensor Cable Bracket

    Use precision tweezers to lift away the small metal bracket covering the fingerprint sensor ribbon connector.

    Disconnect Fingerprint Cable

    Pry the fingerprint sensor flex cable connector straight up from its motherboard socket using a plastic spudger.

    Remove Back Cover

    Set the freed rear cover aside in a clean workspace area.

    Unscrew Loudspeaker Housing

    Remove the Phillips #000 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker cover assembly to the frame.

    Pry Up Loudspeaker Assembly

    Insert a spudger under the top lip of the speaker assembly and pry it up out of the housing.

    Use a plastic spudger to detach the lower interconnect flex cable connector from the charging port board.

    Disconnect Antenna Coaxial Cables

    Gently unsnap the two coaxial antenna cable connectors from the charging port daughterboard using tweezers.

    Remove Daughterboard Screw

    Unscrew the single Phillips screw holding the charging port board in place.

    Remove Old Charging Board

    Pry beneath the edge of the charging port daughterboard with a spudger and lift it out of the chassis.

    Position New Charging Board

    Place the replacement charging port board into its recess at the bottom of the frame.

    Secure Board Screw

    Thread and tighten the single Phillips screw to secure the new daughterboard to the frame.

    Reconnect Antenna Cables

    Align and press down on the coaxial antenna cable heads until they snap securely onto their board terminals.

    Reconnect Main Flex Cable

    Align the interconnect flex cable connector over its socket and press firmly until it clicks into place.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker Assembly

    Set the loudspeaker housing over the daughterboard area and secure it using the Phillips screws.

    Reconnect Fingerprint Cable

    Hold the back cover near the phone body and press the fingerprint flex cable connector back onto the motherboard.

    Reinstall Sensor Bracket

    Place the metal protective bracket over the fingerprint sensor connector using tweezers.

    Apply Back Cover Adhesive

    Apply fresh double-sided adhesive strips along the edges of the inner phone frame.

    Press Back Cover Closed

    Align the rear panel with the body and press firmly along all edges to set the adhesive.

    Reinsert SIM Tray
