Eject SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the side of the device. Press firmly to pop the tray out and remove it completely.

Heat Rear Cover
2 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the outer edges of the rear cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive seal.

Attach Suction Cup

2 minDrip a few drops of isopropyl alcohol around the battery edges to dissolve the underlying adhesive.

Extract Battery
4 minPull the clear battery adhesive tab upward or slowly pry beneath the battery with a wide plastic card until it separates.

Clean Frame Recess
2 minWipe away remaining adhesive residue from the metal frame well using a lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol.

Apply New Adhesive Strips
2 minPeel the protective backing off the replacement adhesive strips and stick them flat into the battery housing well.
