   Power off the phone and remove the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the tray hole on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly to pop the tray out and set it aside.

   Heat the rear panel edges

   Apply a heat gun set to low warmth around the outer edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach suction cup and slice rear adhesive

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge, pull upward to create a small gap, and insert an opening pick. Slide the pick around all sides to cut through the glue.

   Lift and remove the back cover

   Pry the main display ribbon cable connector off the logic board using the tip of your spudger.

   Unplug the secondary interconnect flex cable linking the logic board to the lower charging board assembly.

    Disconnect coaxial antenna cables

    Use precision tweezers to carefully unclip the black and white antenna cables from their sockets on the logic board.

    Pop the front-facing camera press-connector loose from the motherboard using a plastic spudger.

    Disconnect the rear camera array

    Unplug the flex connectors for the primary and ultrawide camera lenses from the logic board.

    Unscrew the small Phillips screws directly anchoring the logic board to the internal phone chassis.

    Mount the front and rear camera modules onto your replacement logic board if it did not come pre-equipped.

    Set the new logic board into the frame

    Lower the replacement logic board into the frame, ensuring all loose flex cables sit clear of the board's underside.

    Secure the logic board with screws

    Drive the small Phillips screws back into the logic board to anchor it firmly to the frame.

    Reconnect all flex and antenna cables

    Snap the camera, display, interconnect, and coaxial antenna cables onto their respective motherboard headers.

    Reconnect the battery press-fit cable, reattach the upper shield with its screws, and seal the rear panel back onto the frame.
