   Power off the device

   Press and hold the Power button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the phone is completely powered down before beginning.

   Remove the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then pull it completely free.

   Heat the back cover

   Apply heat to the edges of the back cover for two minutes using a heat gun or hair dryer. This softens the perimeter adhesive holding the back panel.

   Attach the suction cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and press firmly. Pull upward on the ring to create a small gap between the panel and the frame.

   Insert an opening pick

   Slide a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Slice slowly through the adhesive along the bottom edge.

   Slice perimeter adhesive

   Guide the opening pick around the remaining sides and top corner of the phone. Keep the pick depth shallow to avoid damaging internal components.

   Remove the back cover

   Lift the back cover away from the phone frame once all adhesive is cut. Set the back panel aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the speaker housing

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove seven screws securing the lower loudspeaker assembly. Keep track of each screw for reassembly.

   Pry up the speaker housing

   Insert the flat end of a spudger beneath the top edge of the speaker module housing. Carefully pry upward to release the clips securing it to the frame.

    Remove the old speaker module

    Lift the speaker housing assembly out of the bottom chassis using your fingers or tweezers. Discard the damaged unit.

    Install the new speaker module

    Position the new loudspeaker assembly into the lower cavity of the frame. Press down evenly until the module clips flush into place.

    Secure the speaker housing screws

    Reinstall the seven Phillips #000 screws into the loudspeaker assembly. Tighten them firmly until snug, taking care not to strip the threads.

    Clean old adhesive residue

    Dampen a microfibre cloth with high-concentration isopropyl alcohol and wipe away remaining adhesive from the chassis rim.

    Apply new back cover adhesive

    Lay fresh double-sided adhesive tape or pre-cut adhesive strips along the phone's rear frame edges. Peel off the protective film backing.

    Reattach the back cover

    Align the back cover over the frame and press around the perimeter firmly to seal the adhesive.

    Reinsert the SIM tray

    Slide the SIM card tray back into its slot on the left edge until it sits flush against the housing.
