Power Off Phone
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen before beginning disassembly.

Eject SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool or thin paperclip into the pinhole on the left side of the frame and pull out the tray.

Heat Rear Panel
2 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the perimeter of the plastic back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Disconnect Antenna Coaxial Cable
1 minGently pry up the round antenna coaxial cable connector from its socket on the lower daughterboard using precision tweezers.

Remove Defective Microphone Sub-Board
2 minInsert a flat spudger under the edge of the daughterboard and lift it out of the phone body.

Install Replacement Microphone Sub-Board
2 minPlace the new microphone sub-board into the lower recess of the phone and press down lightly to seat it.

Reconnect Flex Cables and Antenna
2 minAlign and press down the antenna cable and main interconnect flex cable connectors onto the new daughterboard.

Reconnect Battery Cable
