   Eject SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole beside the SIM tray on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then pull it completely free.

   Heat Back Cover Edges

   Apply a heat gun or hairdryer to the outer edges of the rear panel for two minutes to soften the internal adhesive bond.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel. Press down firmly to create a tight vacuum seal.

   Insert Plastic Opening Pick

   Pull up gently on the suction cup to form a slight gap along the bottom seam. Slide a plastic opening pick into the gap.

   Slice Bottom Adhesive

   Slide the plastic pick back and forth along the bottom edge of the phone to cut through the adhesive layer.

   Guide the pick around the bottom-left corner and slice upward along the left side of the rear panel.

   Insert a second pick into the bottom gap and slide it along the right side toward the top edge.

    Disconnect Fingerprint Cable

    Pry up the lower press connector of the main ribbon cable from the charging port daughterboard.

    Use precision tweezers to pop the black and white antenna coaxial heads off their snap-on sockets on the daughterboard.

    Remove Daughterboard Fasteners

    Remove the remaining Phillips #000 screws holding the charging port daughterboard onto the metal chassis.

    Pry Up Daughterboard

    Slide a spudger beneath the daughterboard edge and gently lever it up from the lower chassis housing.

    Position the new charging port daughterboard into the bottom chassis, ensuring the USB-C port aligns with the frame opening.

    Secure Daughterboard Screws

    Reinstall and tighten the Phillips #000 screws to hold the new charging board flat against the frame.

    Attach Antenna Coaxial Cables

    Align and gently press down the antenna cable heads onto their corresponding metal terminals on the daughterboard until they snap into place.

    Align the main flex cable over its connector on the daughterboard and press down firmly to secure it.
