   Turn off the phone

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen.

   Remove the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole beside the SIM card tray and push firmly to eject it.

   Heat the back cover

   Apply heat evenly along the edges of the back cover with a heat gun for 2–3 minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Create an opening gap

   Press a suction cup onto the lower back cover and pull gently while inserting a thin opening pick into the seam.

   Slide plastic picks around the perimeter to release the perimeter clips and cut through the adhesive bond.

    Place a suction cup on the front glass, pull upward, and push a plastic opening pick beneath the glass bezel.

    Slide the opening pick around all four edges of the screen to separate it from the frame.

    Thread the flex cable through

    Guide the old display's ribbon cable carefully through the frame slot and lift off the broken glass panel.

    Scrape away old screen tape using tweezers and clean the perimeter with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
