   Eject SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the left side of the phone. Push firmly to pop the tray out, then remove it.

   Unclip rear cover

   Insert a plastic opening pick between the rear panel and front frame near the SIM slot. Slide the pick around the edge to unhook the plastic clips.

   Lift rear cover carefully

   Tilt the rear cover open from the right side. Do not pull it completely away, as the fingerprint sensor flex cable is still attached.

   Remove fingerprint bracket screw

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the single screw securing the metal bracket over the fingerprint sensor connector.

   Disconnect fingerprint sensor

   Pry the fingerprint sensor connector straight up from the motherboard using a plastic spudger. Set the rear cover aside.

   Remove loudspeaker screws

   Remove the Phillips #000 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker assembly to the frame.

   Remove speaker housing

   Insert a spudger under the edge of the speaker module and lift it out of the phone chassis.

   Disconnect main interconnect cable

   Use the edge of a spudger to pop the main flex cable connector off the lower daughterboard.

   Unplug antenna cable

   Gently pry the white coaxial antenna cable off its press-fit socket on the daughterboard using tweezers.

    Pry up microphone daughterboard

    Slide a flat spudger underneath the daughterboard and carefully pry it up from the adhesive on the lower frame.

    Transfer microphone rubber gasket

    Use tweezers to peel the small rubber microphone boot off the old board and install it onto the new microphone port.

    Install new daughterboard

    Place the new microphone daughterboard into the lower recess, aligning it with the plastic positioning pegs.

    Attach coaxial cable

    Position the coaxial antenna connector over its socket on the daughterboard and press down firmly until it snaps into place.

    Connect main flex cable

    Align the interconnect flex cable connector over its socket on the daughterboard and press down gently to reconnect it.

    Reinstall speaker housing

    Position the loudspeaker module over the sub-board and press it flush into the frame.

    Fasten speaker screws

    Drive the Phillips #000 screws back into place to secure the speaker module.

    Reconnect fingerprint sensor

    Snap the fingerprint sensor connector back onto the motherboard, reinstall the metal bracket, and secure it with its screw.

    Snap on rear cover

    Align the rear panel with the phone chassis and press firmly along all edges until the plastic clips snap shut.

    Reinsert SIM tray

    Slide the SIM card tray back into its slot on the side of the phone until it sits flush.
