   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the power button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before beginning.

   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM card tray on the left edge. Push firmly to pop the tray out and remove it.

   Heat the Back Panel

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer to apply mild heat around the edges of the back cover for two minutes. This softens the adhesive holding the rear panel.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the heated back cover. Pull gently upward to create a small gap near the USB-C port.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the seam opened by the suction cup. Take care not to insert it too deeply to avoid damaging internal components.

   Slice Rear Panel Adhesive

   Gently slide the opening pick along the bottom, sides, and top edges of the phone. Reapply heat if the adhesive hardens or resists movement.

   Remove the Back Panel

   Carefully lift the rear panel away from the phone chassis. Set the back cover aside in a safe, dust-free area.

   Unscrew the Lower Speaker Assembly

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the lower loudspeaker housing. Keep the screws organized for reassembly.

   Pry Up the Speaker Assembly

   Insert a spudger under the edge of the speaker module and gently lift it out. Remove the loudspeaker assembly and place it aside.

    Disconnect the Main Flex Cable

    Use a plastic spudger to pop open the connector latch for the main interconnect ribbon cable. Carefully lift the flex cable away from the sub-board.

    Disconnect the Coaxial Antenna Cable

    Use fine tweezers to gently pry up the white coaxial antenna connector straight up from the sub-board. Do not bend or pull on the wire itself.

    Remove Sub-board Securing Screw

    Remove the small Phillips screw holding the charging port sub-board to the frame. Store the screw safely with your other components.

    Remove the Old Charging Port Board

    Gently insert a flat spudger under the daughterboard and pry it up from the chassis adhesive. Lift the board out of the phone body.

    Position the New Charging Port Board

    Align the replacement sub-board with the housing guides and lower it into place. Press down gently until it sits completely flush.

    Secure the Sub-board Screw

    Replace and tighten the Phillips screw securing the sub-board to the phone frame. Ensure the board remains perfectly level.

    Reconnect Cables to Sub-board

    Press the coaxial cable connector straight down onto its socket until it snaps into place. Reconnect the main interconnect flex cable pressing firmly until secure.

    Reinstall the Speaker Module

    Position the loudspeaker module over the sub-board and press it flat. Fasten all Phillips screws back into the loudspeaker housing.

    Reattach the Rear Cover

    Apply new adhesive tape to the perimeter of the frame. Align the back cover, press down firmly around all edges, and reinsert the SIM tray.
