Power off the device

2 minUse tweezers to carefully lift out or push inward the physical volume button covers from inside the frame slot.

Position the new volume key buttons
2 minInsert the replacement physical volume buttons into the side frame cutouts, ensuring correct orientation.

Install the new volume flex ribbon
2 minAlign the replacement volume button flex assembly against the frame wall and press firmly so the adhesive sticks.

Connect the volume flex cable

Reconnect the battery cable
